TogoAI places particular importance on protecting its users' personal data. This policy explains what data is collected, why, how it is used and protected, and what rights you can exercise. The processing described here is carried out by the service's publisher, an individual acting on a personal basis.
If you create an account: last name, first name, email, display name (optional), date of birth (optional), preferred language and theme, as well as the content of your conversations and your conversation history. If you use the contact form, the contact details and message you submit are sent to TogoAI by email. To limit abuse, a HMAC fingerprint of your IP address is temporarily stored in Upstash Redis for the one-hour rate-limit window; the application does not use the raw IP address as the rate-limit identifier. We never collect plain-text passwords or payment information, and we do not use any advertising or commercial tracking cookies.
Account data is used solely to operate the service: authentication, account creation and management, saving your conversation history, personalization (language, theme, display name), and service security. It is never sold, rented, or used for advertising or commercial purposes by third parties.
Your data is stored securely with our database hosting provider, with strict access rules limiting the ability to read your conversations to your account alone. Reasonable measures are implemented to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure, including encryption of communications.
TogoAI relies on third-party technical providers to operate: hosting and authentication, AI-generated responses, document retrieval, real-time news search, contact email delivery (Resend), and contact-form abuse prevention (Upstash). These providers only access your data to the extent strictly necessary to carry out their technical services.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and object regarding your data. You can view, modify, or delete your account at any time from the application settings. Deleting an account results in the deletion of the conversation history linked to it.
The showcase website and the application only use technical cookies strictly necessary for their operation (language preference, session management). No advertising or commercial tracking cookies are used.
